Released in June 2025, all proceeds from this album will be donated to SEARCH (South African Advancement in Research in Paediatric Haematologu-Oncology) which is the new national treatment platform for research in chilhood and adolescent blood disorders and cancer.

Your Light was originally written in 1994 for Candlelight Memorial Day in commemoration of all those who were living with HIV and who had died during the AIDS pandemic. This version, a re-write of the original song, draws the connection between our reliving and retelling of that time and the time of COVID.

SAY

The song was reinvented from a song Marc wrote in his late twenties, evolving from an expression of frustration to a more triumphant and defiant declaration. It was released on May 27, 2023, and has appeared on various streaming services, charting on South African radio stations.

Marc’s first release was successfully launched in April 2017, with all proceeds benefiting the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital in Cape Town. The album features 11 songs, including tracks like “Like a Girl” and “Someone Leaves the Room”.
